hello Detroit airport, my old friend

Hi friends

I went away last weekend to see the musician Maggie Rogers at a concert in Minneapolis. Normally, I do not try to cram three trips into one month. In my youth, I did keep it moving, but in my dotage (lol) I like to be steadier, making trips to Meijer my main adventure along with whatever cake I may be attempting to bake, whatever walk I’m looking forward to taking on my criminally suburban streets. I did enjoy jaunting off to see an old friend, however, someone I met in college. “Do you feel 19 again?” she asked at one point. I reported that I wasn’t capable of feeling that level of delusion which is, in fact, not a true statement. I am capable of wondrous delusions! But I *did* have a great time.
